Please Read: Microsoft Changes Affecting Reservation Emails

We wanted to share an important update regarding reservation emails and what you may begin to notice in the coming weeks.

Microsoft has recently introduced new filtering rules across its email platforms that are designed to reduce spam. As part of this, emails that receive higher spam reports or lower engagement – including transactional emails like reservation reminders – may be more likely to be filtered or blocked.

These changes are impacting email delivery across many platforms and providers – not just ours. This is something happening at the industry level and is outside of our control.

What does this mean for you?
You may occasionally see reservation emails not reaching your clients’ inboxes as expected, particularly if they are being flagged by the receiving email provider.

What this does NOT affect:
Your email marketing campaigns are not impacted by these changes and will continue to function as usual.

What we’re doing:
We are actively monitoring these changes and working to identify best practices and potential solutions to help improve deliverability. As we learn more, we will continue to share updates, tips, and recommendations to help you navigate these changes.

Microsoft is leading the way with these updates, and it is expected that other providers such as Google, Yahoo, and iCloud may follow with similar policies in the future.

In the meantime, one of the best ways to support deliverability is to ensure emails are relevant, timely, and valuable to your clients. This helps reduce the likelihood of messages being marked as spam.

We appreciate your understanding as the email landscape continues to evolve, and we’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.
