Create Forms
You can make all types of forms for clients, but for this example, we will use a “Credit Card Authorization Form” to use as a guideline.
Watch this video or scroll further down to read the steps on how to create a form.
On the left side of your screen, there is an area titled “Form Manager.” Once there, you can either re-use a previous form or click the plus button at the top to create a brand-new form.
After the form is created, the Form Name category is for your records while the Subject Line is what your customers will see. Do not hit the Active button until you are ready for this form to be sent.
On the bottom of this screen is a subject destination where you can adjust who receives the form. This can be as broad or as specific as you like.
On the Form Content screen, you will hit Add Form Item to create each section of your form. The Title button can be changed to whatever you need for your form next, such as an acknowledgment or plain text box.
If you want to include the customer’s name, you can hit Merge Tags in the upper right-hand corner. From there, highlight the tag you wish to use, [CustomerFirstName], and copy and paste it into your text box.
Instead of doing an Acknowledgement category, you can do a Declaration category, where the text will include a blank for your customer to type their name (and the date) in.
Last is to include a section called Credit Card Entry Form which will automatically create the credit card input form. It WILL NOT include collecting the three-digit pin, or CVV code, because that information is legally not allowed to be stored together.
This credit card authorization form will not be stored in the reservation section but under the customer section.
