How to add Images, Videos, & Icons to your Email
We’re continuing our series on how to use our new email upgrades! Are you ready?
Today, we are discussing the Image, Video, and Icon features. These tools help add visual elements to your email messages.
You can find these in your content toolbox tab, which is pictured below:
1. Image
First, let’s discuss an image block. Capture the attention of readers with picture of a trip you’re offering or a fun graphic!
To insert an image, find the image block under your content toolbox tab and drag and drop it where desired.
Once inserted into your email, select “browse” in the image block. This will take you to your File Manager, where you can upload the images you wish to add to your message.
Once the image is successfully uploaded, click on your image to adjust the way your image looks.
In the content toolbox tab, you can adjust the width and alignment of your photo. You can also add links to your image, as well!
Let’s look at some examples!
You can use this as a header banner image (hint – you can also upload an animated .gif image like the one shown below, to include a little movement)
Create a row with multiple content blocks (the one below has 3) and use it to showcase multiple location photos of a destination or resort or just as a fun divider block
2. Video
Next, videos work similarly to images. These are great for instructional videos, introductions to your agency, and more!
To insert a video into your email, drag and drop the video block wherever you want it to appear in your message.
Then, select “Add A Video URL” that appears in your video block. This will bring you to a tab in your content toolbox called “Content Properties.”
Copy and paste your URL link to your video to upload it into your message. It is important to note that if you want a preview image of your video to appear in the email, you must use a YouTube or Vimeo URL.
Now you have a video element added to your email like the one below – how exciting!
3. Icon
Last is an icon block. Think of these like mini-images. They can line up next to each other- works well to show off a 5-star testimonial!
Then, click in your icon box to bring up your content properties. Select “Add New Icon” to add an icon to your block.
To change your icon, select, “Change Image.” This will bring you to your File Manager, where you can upload new icons that you wish to add to your email.
We know many of you use the Email Marketing and Reservation emails to communicate to your customers and are seeing amazing results because of it!
