Find Missing Commisions

Commissions are a big part of travel agencies, but what to do if you can’t find one?

Sometimes it is a very simple process. Check to see if it was already received. In the received section, you can order commissions by name and search that way.

If the commission is not in the received tab, you can also go to the Current Reservations tab, organize by Completion, and search with either the reservation number or customer name. From there, you should check if the “Non Commissionable” button is selected. If so, the commission will not show up in your received tab.

Another option is that the commission has already been paid. You can search the Current Reservations tab, organize by completion, and search with the reservation number. On the right hand-side of the screen is a scrolling menu option, one of which is the Payment Information tab. You can then see if it was paid and how.

It’s also good to make sure that an agent has not made a copy of a reservation and is accidentally requesting a double-payment.

Lastly, if these options don’t work, you may have to experiment on if something was spelled incorrectly, if an extra space was added at the beginning of a reservation, or if the agents completely forgot to put in the commission.
