Change the Order of Products in Product Configuration

Learn How to Change the Order of Products in Product Configuration

We are here to share another tip so you can become a Vacation Creations pro! Something that can be confusing is changing the order of products in your products configuration tab. If you need some extra help figuring it out, keep reading! 

1. Log in as an admin
2. Click on the administration button, either on the homepage or in the sidebar (top left on the homepage, 2nd down in the sidebar)
3. Once Administration is open, click on the product configuration button (again, on the homepage or in the sidebar, they lead to the same place)
4. Find the product you wish to reorder or sort. There should be a pencil next to the product. Click on this.
5. An “Edit Product” screen should come up. The second field on this screen is “Display Order”
6. The display of the items is in numeric order in each column. If the numbers on them are the same, they will be displayed in alphabetical order.
   1. If you want them to display in alphabetic order, change all the numbers to the same. If there are certain products you don’t want to be in alphabetical order, either make the number lower to pin it above the alphabetical order ones or make it higher to place it below them.
   2. Ex. If all of the products in alphabetical order are numbered 5, make the number  1 if you want it above the alphabetical order products or 10 to place it below them.
